Step 1: Visit the official website of the Income Tax Department.
On the homepage, click on the ‘Services’ tab, and then click on ‘PAN’ from the drop-down menu.
Step 2: On the next page, click on the ‘Application Type’ tab and select ‘Changes or Correction in existing PAN data/Reprint of PAN Card (No changes in existing PAN data)’.
Step 3: On the next page, enter the details of your PAN card, such as the PAN number, name, date of birth, and the captcha code.
Step 4: Next, you need to fill in the details of the corrections that you want to make. You can make changes in the name, date of birth, father’s name, etc.
Step 5: After filling in the details, you need to upload the documents that you want to submit as proof of identity. The documents must be in the prescribed format and size.
Step 6: On the next page, you need to fill in the Aadhaar card number.
Step 7: Next, you need to submit the application fee. You can pay the fee online using a debit or credit card, or via net banking.
